Day 5

I lost my virginity at age thirteen. I know what you’re thinking, and the answer is no. I wasn’t raped or molested. Nothing horrible happened to me. I didn’t have a daddy complex or a shit life I needed to be rescued from. I just happened to like boys…a lot. I like them all.

Tall, short, skinny, buff, light hair, or dark—I don’t discriminate. My favorite kind, though, are the ones who like other boys too.

I realized early on that one man isn’t enough for me. It’s a simple mathematical fact. Why have one man when you can have two? Any more than two gets complicated. But it’s worth it. Sometimes every woman has to make an exception though—two crappy losers or one smoking hot man.

The night I laid eyes on Hunter Coy, I made my choice. At least until he introduced me to his best friend, Mason Wynn.

They were punishing. He grabbed my waist with a feral
grip, pulling me to him hard while he thrust into me even harder. The way we
both needed it.
There would be bruises in the morning from where his
hands found purchase, but I didn’t mind.
The day was the same as the one before as he took from my
body, my heart, my soul. In return he gave himself to me the only way he knew
how: with bruising hands, passionate kisses, and hard thrusts.
His body was sin, his cock was sin, and I was a sinner.
His hands moved up my thighs, his long, slender fingers
playing my body, bending me to his will. They were a delicious torture, just as
much as his words.
His lips sucked at my neck, teeth digging in, making my
eyes roll back; another mark.
I grinned. He loved marking me, and I loved hiding them
from people. They were proof, a reminder of his need, his pleasure.
My tongue ran up the column of his neck before I found
the perfect location to mark him as well. The spot I choose, just below his
ear, would make it visible, unable to be hidden by the collar of his dress
It would make his admirers mad with wonder when they came
around to bug him the next day. I smiled at the thought of them finding out he

He pulled my hair, bringing my focus back to him. His
teeth scraped my neck. No doubt leaving small pink trails on my skin. He
growled. “You’re not paying attention to my cock, Lila.”
A shiver ran down my spine and my muscles clenched around
him, eliciting a rumble deep in his chest. He thrust hard, using long strokes,
causing me to scream out in response.
He picked up the pace. “That’s it, baby. That’s what I
like to hear.” He was pushing me to the edge again. “Scream for me. I want
everyone to hear what I do to you.”
My mind was fuzzy, lost in a sea of lust. I obeyed and
let go, no longer holding back. My screams echoed around the room, and that
trademark smirk of his formed on his perfect features.
His mouth moved down to my breasts where he began licking
and nipping. The combination of sensations from his body’s assault was too
much. His name spilled from my lips on a scream as my back arched off the bed.
My hands grabbed his arms; nails digging in as my walls constricted around him.
“Fuck, you feel so damn good when you come around my
I was too far gone to respond, my body going lax after my
orgasm. He was still going. Both hands were back on my hips as he drove into
me. His stamina was unparalleled. How many times in the past had I been forced
to come multiple times before he spilled inside me?
“God, I’m close,” he grunted before pulling out.
I whimpered at the loss, but knew what he was doing. What
he wanted from me.
I managed to turn my body around, coming face to face
with his cock and took him into my eager mouth. I lapped up my juices from him
as my tongue swirled around his length. His eyes were on me, watching his cock
disappear between my lips. He loved to watch me suck him after being buried in
my pussy. I sucked hard, punishing him as he had me. I was rewarded with a hiss
and a flex of his hips. My teeth grazed his skin. He moaned deep in his chest,
his panting gaining speed, muscles tensing.
His hands wrapped up in my hair just as he began to
thrust, fucking my mouth. He was grunting and moaning as he hit the back of my
throat. I reached up to massage his balls, adding to the sensations.
“Fuck!” he cried out. His hips flexed forward before

After licking him clean, I released him from my mouth. I
smiled up at him and he leaned down to kiss me. The kiss was passionate, as
were all his kisses. It was also harsh; his teeth biting on my lip, scraping
it, tasting himself.
He got a rag to clean me up before we laid down and
curled into one another. Tomorrow was closing in. Another day of wearing masks
and hiding what we wanted, what we were, from the world. Another day of denying
each other. Another night of punishment to look forward to.
Why was he punishing me? Because I called to him, and I
let him do whatever he wanted to me. Punishing himself for wanting me and doing
whatever he desired to me.
Punishing us for our breach.

Can Lila and Nathan push through all of the obstacles in front of them? Will the journey be their healing, or their destruction?
My eyes began to open, fighting against the glue that
seemed to be keeping them shut. The morning light seeped through the windows.
My hand twitched, and I felt something between my fingers. I looked down to
find Nathan’s familiar hair beneath my palm. His head was lying on his arm, his
other hand draped on my stomach. He was asleep.
I’d been dreaming.
I studied him. There were dark circles under his eyes,
and his face was gaunt. He seemed thinner, too. I hadn’t noticed how terrible
he looked because I refused to really take a good look at him. I didn’t want
The dream resurfaced, and in my mind I remembered how
good, how healthy, he looked. I also remembered the family we had. I had
dreamed of him, dreamed of us, and what we could be.
My walls were cracking. I wanted it. I wanted it so
badly. I wanted him.
My fingers combed through his hair, and I wondered if I’d
been doing that in my sleep? Had I known he was there and reached out to him?
It wouldn’t surprise me. I never could deny the draw I
had to him. The more I thought about letting him in, the more my chest
constricted, my breathing more labored.
It would be up to him. If he wanted me as much as he
claimed, he would have to show me.
Nothing less would allow me to open back up to him. No
more hiding. He would have to let it all out before I even considered.
He stirred and my fingers stilled. His eyes opened, and I
stared down at him. They closed again, and his head pushed up into my hand as
he let out a sigh of contentment.
“Hi,” he croaked. I didn’t respond. I was muted as his
blue eyes gazed up at me in reverence. “How are you feeling?” His hand rose
from my stomach and moved a strand of hair from my face.
“You really want an answer to that?” Just because he
brought me food and movies, did not mean everything was wonderful.
“That bad, huh?”
I shrugged as best I could. “Broken heart, broken body,
and broken soul. Not sure I can get more broken than that.”
He cringed against my words. “I’m going to work on fixing
all those things.”
“You have a plan for that?”
“It’s formulating. Slowly, but it’s coming.”
I quirked my brow at him. “Are you sure about that?”
“It’s a twelve-step program.”
My lips twitched. “Really? What’s step number one?”
“Admitting I’m in love with you…to you and myself.”

The Wicked Bad by Karyn Gerrard

Nick Crocetti is an imposing figure in black leather riding his motorcycle about the town of Rockland. Owner of a bar, The Chief, whispers of criminal dealings and a murky past swirl around him. Dark and brooding, Nick is “the wicked bad” in looks and demeanor.

Veronica Barnes, leaving a husband from a disastrously quick Las Vegas marriage and her high-paying consulting job, returns home after ten years to follow a lifelong dream and open her own bakery.

Despite the mutual physical attraction – and a shared past – Nick and Veronica are wary of each other and have protective fences around their hearts.

Can they break down the barriers of past heartbreak, or is Veronica just a good girl who longs to rub against “the wicked bad”?

Veronica had to admit, she was having a nice time. She enjoyed sitting behind him on his bike as he raced up the highway. Her arms clung to his broad, muscular back and chest. Feeling the powerful bike vibrate under her and feeling Nick vibrate next to her was a total turn on. Touching and holding on to him sent such waves of pure, raw heat through her body. Though at first, she was scared to death. Before they left, Nick instructed her on how to be a passenger. Lean into the turns when he did and don’t clutch him too tightly. Veronica knew she shamelessly felt him all over as he drove. Nothing prepared her for the rush of excitement, not only being curled against all that male muscle, but the feeling of driving fast on the open road with the wind whipping around her body. She wished she could’ve taken the helmet off and let the wind take her hair skyward. The sensation was incredible, a real rush. She followed him toward the beach. The shoreline wasn’t very big, but private, as you couldn’t see the road or much else from their vantage point. Wonder how many other women he brought here, she thought cynically.

He spread the blanket and assisted her in sitting down. Again, the touch of his hand made her face flush as well as parts further south. Nick sat next to her with one leg bent and he rested his arm on the top of his knee. They sat quietly and gazed out over the water. The waves caressed the sand with a serene almost hypnotic sound.

“I saw you talking to that wuss, Jake Spooner, as I left the other day. I can imagine what he said about me,” Nick said in a voice so soft, she hardly recognized it as his.

Veronica cleared her throat uncomfortably.

Nick laughed. “I see. Go on, amuse me, what did he say?”

“Um, he said you were in prison—” she began.

“Jail. Not prison,” he retorted.

“There’s a difference?”

“You’ve got the cop for a brother, you tell me,” Nick snapped. He shook his head, more gently he said, “Sorry. It’s a touchy subject. City jail, for assault and destruction of property. Prison usually means a state or federal beef. Mine was local and a long time ago. I did my time and it’s over. I don’t like talking about it.”

“He called you a thug and said you deal drugs among other things.” She shouldn’t be telling him this, but the words tumbled out of her.

“Really? And still you went out with me? Are you some thrill seeker, one of those good girls eager to rub up against some wicked bad? Is that why you’re here? I’ll be as bad as you want, just say the word.”

Eli Blue

“Deacon! Deacon! Deacon!” the hoard of girls chanted, as
they pushed and shoved, trying to get closer to the empty stage.
The unmistakable sound of a Fender Stratocaster echoed
through the small arena, inciting the masses even further.  The crowd was a living, breathing entity all
its own that swayed and surged with every note.
As the opening guitar solo edged forward, I could smell sweet excitement
filling the air; unfortunately, the scent was dampened by sweat and stale beer.
“C’mon, hurry your ass up!” I shouted to my friend, Willow,
before I started weaving through the flesh-hungry mob. Willow wrapped her arms
around my waist trying not to get trampled.
After elbowing every single person in our path, we finally
reached the barricade a few feet from the stage. Immediately, we were greeted
by a snarling security guard that wasn’t happy to see us ascending into sacred
territory.  He held up his hands in a
silent plea for us to stop, which did nothing but make me roll my eyes.  I’d never felt entitled to things in my life;
however, free reign at this place was a given, and the only thing I ever
I flashed the sweetest smile I could manage, and was just
about to inform him who my dad was, when a man dressed in a business suit
gestured for the guard to let us pass.  I
smiled at the suit and he returned the gesture with a nod of his head just
before he disappeared behind a door leading under the stage.  Realization of who I was, or actually who my
dad was, flooded over the guard’s face.
His eyes grew wide and reverence appeared – with a touch of pity.
“That never gets old.” Willow yelled in my ear over the
screams and hollers for the concert to begin.
“What?” I shouted back.
“When they finally realize you’re someone important and
retreat.” She laughed.
I shook my head. “But I’m not.” I informed her.
“Yes, you are, Elizabeth, and it won’t be long ‘til I’m
someone special, too.” She said with a wink.
I rolled my eyes at her before turning my attention back to
the stage just as a single light began to rise.
The guitar solo slowly faded and was followed by the pounding of a kick
drum.  Boom, boom, boom.  I could feel my heart mirror the slow,
methodical beat.  Boom, boom, boom.
Anticipation built within me causing heat to cover my body,
and sweat to roll down the middle of my back.
Music always had a way of exciting me.
I’d grown up with it – I’d never known anything different.  Even when I’d been shielded from its harsh
glare, a constant rhythm still flowed through my veins.
A shadowy figure appeared at the center microphone directly
in front of us.
“Oh shit there he is, there he is!” Willow screamed, jumping
up and down.
I burst into laughter because I’d never seen her act like
this before.
“Damn girl, calm down! He’s just some lead singer.  We’ve definitely met our fair share before.”
I placed my hands on her shoulders forcing her to calm down.
She pointed toward the stage, “Duke’s different—dear Lord is
he different.  Just wait ‘til you hear
him sing and you’ll be ready to rip his clothes off, too.”
“Fuck me, Duke!” echoed behind me.  I turned to see a leggy blonde with the
brightest red lips I’d ever seen, flashing her tits at the stage.  I’d never understand how any woman thought
that would help her chances at snagging a man.
Sleazy desperation was never attractive on anyone, no matter how much
lipstick you tried to cover it with.
A low, sexy growl came through the sound system, drawing my
attention back to the stage.  Standing
center stage was a towering man wearing nothing but black leather pants.  His long blonde hair hung down his back and
teased the crowd by subtly camouflaging his muscles that appeared to bulge in
all the right places.
“That’s him, that’s him.” Willow shouted, digging her nails
into my upper arm.
I shrugged my shoulders, “Yeah, he looks good, but I need to
hear him first.”
“He plays guitar, too. Don’t worry, I wouldn’t drag you here
for a singer that didn’t play, too.”
I smiled at my best friend because she knew me well.
Although I tried hard not to pass judgment on him before I actually heard him
sing, his cliché appearance was definitely a strike against him.  He was too flashy for what I wanted.  I wanted old fashioned musicians that played
for the love of their craft.  Not someone
that was just in it for the glitz and glam.
Willow dragged me here tonight in hopes I’d sign her
favorite new band to my dad’s management company; technically, it was my management company now, even though I
refused to call it that.  Savage Man had
become mine four years ago on my eighteenth birthday.  Before that my mother almost ran it into the
ground from the day her guardianship of me granted her the right.
My dad hadn’t been a part of my life since all the glitz and
glam took him from me when I was barely thirteen years old. Not nearly old
enough to know how his absence would affect my entire world, let alone how he’d
want me to lead his brainchild.
Willow’s band, The Elle’s, was the first band I signed when
I officially started working at Savage Man full time last month, after graduating
college.  An all girl rock band, no one
could go wrong with the way these girls looked, not to mention their amount of
talent.  Simply, they kicked ass.  The only problem was the estrogen induced
drama that occurred on a daily basis. But Willow had been the only constant in
my life, and I’d do anything to help her achieve her dreams.
“Hey, are you even listening to him?” Willow whined.
“I’m listening,” I snapped. I was definitely listening, and
his voice was impressive.  Clear and
smooth, just like she’d said it was.
The bridge of the song played and the lead guitar picked up,
sending chills dancing across my skin.  I
moved to my left and on to my tiptoes, trying to peer over the tall stage, but
couldn’t see the guitar player.  His half
of the stage was too dark; the only beam of light focused on Duke, who was busy
grinding his hips in the direction of every female he could find.
“Deacon Chastain.” Willow said with a huge smile.  “That’s who you’re looking for over
there.  He doesn’t come out of the
shadows very often.  Apparently he likes
to sulk back there and be all broody.”
“He’s damn good.  Why
didn’t you tell me about him?”
Her eyes gleamed with orneriness. “Because I wanted you to
discover him for yourself. Just wait; there’s a hell of a lot more to see.”
Song, after song played and I still hadn’t seen more than a
glimpse of Deacon through his shroud of darkness.  Still, the sounds that came from his guitar
kept me entranced.  I’d stopped listening
to the song as a whole, only feeling the vibrations of his picked guitar
strings darting through my core.  They
felt so familiar, like I’d never listened to anyone, other than him, play.
“We are Unforgiven, and we hope we rocked you as hard as you
rocked us tonight.  If not, be sure and
let us know, so we can tell you to go fuck yourself.” Duke shouted and the
crowd cheered. “Ladies, don’t forget the line for the backstage freaky train
forms to your left by the big bald security guard. As always, the last song of
the night goes to our fearless founder and leader, Deacon.”
I expected the crowd to go wild with more sexual favor
declarations from the half-naked Barbie’s all around me, but there was only
complete silence.  Duke dropped the mic
with a shrill shriek, and the entire room immediately went black.
A dim light from the back of the stage slowly arced across
the venue, stopping and illuminating someone sitting on a bar stool with a black
hoodie pulled over his head.  Now
backlit, the figure became a dark and menacing presence. A microphone stood in
front of him, waiting to be used, while a large guitar rested on his leg.  Willow pulled on my arm and moved closer.
“That’s Deacon.” She said softly into my ear. “This is their
end of the show tradition – same song at the end of every show.”
The sound of his knuckles cracking filtered through the stillness
as a bright spotlight illuminated the front of his guitar.  I gasped.
It was my guitar; my dad’s guitar.
I knew every single inch of my dad’s guitar and this was identical, even
down to the bright blue details.  I felt
my heart fall to the floor, shattering into a million jagged pieces.  He was another one, another guitar player
obsessed with my dad.  I found them
everywhere, or more accurately, they
found me.  I think some of them had a
tracking device attached to my ass with how quickly they could locate me.  I’d spent my life fighting off Kirk Savage wannabes.  Which never made sense to me—I’m his daughter,
so their path to becoming my “Rock God” dad should not include them vying to be
in my pants.
I heard Deacon slowly inhale then let out a long, steady stream
of air.  Not a nervous gesture, but a
prayer for strength.  He lightly strummed
his guitar and the sound invaded my senses.
He played a slow, light melody that had tears burning my eyes.
His fingers moved over the smooth strings, creating one of
the most genuine sounds I’d ever heard—every movement of his hand giving voice
to the desires of his heart. I’d been around enough musicians to know that was
the only way a mere human could compose such a melody, and in that moment, our
hearts were beating to the same rhythm.
His voice rang through the calm
bar and every eye was turned, hanging on his every word.  His voice was light and rough, his words ran
together, just barely clear enough to understand.
Take her now; you need her more than I
She hasn’t ever truly been mine
Strike your claim; it’s been too long
I’ve been fighting, but you’ve won
There’s no way, don’t hide your eyes
Unused, unwanted, unclaimed
Some of my earliest memories were of me, sitting cross
legged in the middle of my dad’s studio, intently watching the faces of
musicians as they poured their heart and soul into their gift.  My dad used to say, if the fans didn’t feel
like they’d lived an entire lifetime in his shoes after he performed, then he
needed to find another job.  “Maybe an
accountant,” he’d joke, “they don’t need emotions.”
Music has always been the driving force in my life.  It soothed my fears when I was overcome, and
guided the way when I was lost.  I looked
to music like a religious man looks to his God – and it had yet to let me
down.  If Deacon’s face wasn’t covered by
the darkness, I knew I would see every emotion evoked by his words.  Music was easy, life was hard.  Each haunting syllable he uttered crawled
deep into my soul.
“Holy shit, are you crying?” Willow shrieked from beside me,
and then laughed.
I touched my cheeks and felt wetness; I hadn’t even realized
I was crying.  I wiped it away before
turning to look at her.
“No, I wasn’t crying.
Are you crazy?”
“Bullshit Elizabeth, you were freaking cryin’ and don’t try
to deny it.” She pointed her finger in my face and shook her head at me.
“Whatever, c’mon.” I said, looping our arms together and
heading toward backstage. “Do you, or do you not, want to meet Duke?”
“Damn right I’m gonna meet him; gotta meet him before I can
make him put a ring on it.”
She said with a laugh.
